HISTORY

The Sigmundshof on the Amundsenstraße, also commonly called Schottenhof, was built in 1840 on behalf of the abbot Sigismund Schulters as a residential building for the forest warden including farm buildings. The farm was built according to a plan by the master builder Joseph Dorfmeister. The farm was initially called Taflerhof, then Schottenhof and finally after Abbot Sigismund Sigmundshof. Today the building is under monument protection.
